After church today I went cruising around, enjoying the wind and the sunshine, and just following "the impulses of your heart and the desires of your eyes". I found myself at Acadia Beach near UBC, parked and went for a stroll. Headed the opposite direction from the "clothing optional" part of the beach, and took a long walk on the vast low-tide sand flats. It was nice to spend some time praying in the stillness; the only sounds were the wind in my ears, the shuffle of sand beneath my bare feet, and my own breathing. I heard the Lord remind me of one word that I must not forget: WAIT.
