Japanese maple by Fraser Hall

On the way to Friday praise chapel my eye was drawn to the lovely translucent glow of this Japanese maple, softly backlit by the cloudy skies and light mist. The leaves are at the peak of their fall colour, fading from vibrant orange red to burnt ochre.
