Habitat 67 was an avant-garde housing complex designed
by Moshe Safdie for the 1967 World's Fair in Montreal.
The modular design of each of the 158 prefabricated
units was intended to provide affordable housing with
private patios and expansive views. Today, the
exclusive condominium community offers sweeping views
of the Montreal skyline across the St. Lawrence river,
but only for those who can afford the average cost of
CDN$750,000 per unit.
