Yeah, one of those things you do while you're still single -- Kenneth drove down from Virginia Friday evening, we ate dinner and chatted for a while, then drove out to Nags Head at around 1:30am, arriving just in time for the sunrise. Fortunately for me, Kenneth did all the driving, so I got to take some short naps in the car. When we arrived at the Bodie Island Lighthouse, it was still dark, although the sky was starting to get light. As I scouted good locations and setup my tripod and camera, I felt something tickling me, all over my arms and face. Then I heard Kenneth yelping about something. It wasn't until I shone my flashlight on my camera that I saw the hundreds of mosquitoes covering my tripod and camera, as well as my arms. I'm glad I wore long sleeves and long pants that day!
