Deception Pass, WA and Richmond, BC
A few folks from X-group took a day trip out to Deception Pass on Bainbridge Island to relax and have a nice picnic on the beach. It's right halfway between Seattle and Vancouver, so I met them there to enjoy the beautiful, unseasonably sunny weather we had this weekend. It was great just to relax and chill amid the peaceful scenery, and sing praise songs on the beach until our voices got hoarse! Afterward we swung up to Richmond for a yummy dinner before they had to head back down to Seattle. Hopefully they got home in time to get enough rest for church the following day!
