The closing set of the Veteran's Day concert featured a medley of the theme songs for each of the U.S. armed forces -- Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard. Whenever the song for a particular branch of the armed forces was played, all the veterans of that branch would stand and be applauded.

Behind and above the orchestra is the "choir loft" seating area; it's open to the public (for pay concerts I think the pricing is the same as first-balcony seats). Kinda weird but it might be kinda cool to look right down on the performers.
