The maroon color of this beautiful little flower really caught my eye. I think it's some kind of wild rose, but what variety, I don't know.
This was taken with the 70-200/2.8L, and I believe a 12mm extension tube. It was kinda windy, so I propped up my umbrella just off camera right in an attempt to keep the blossom still. I used my plaid shirt for the dark purplish background.
