A quiet, hidden beach in the Ballard area. After church I wandered down to nearby Golden Gardens, but the beach was jam-packed with people making the most of the bright sunny Sunday afternoon. I wandered south and found a narrow walkway leading to this small public beach nestled among the many expensive private waterfront townhomes. The public beach area is just barely big enough for one park bench, and there was no one else around; it was a nice place to sit and gather my thoughts.
