Sunday morning I visited the Vancouver Chinese Alliance Church on Knight Street, just a few blocks from my hotel. I had a bit of spare time in the afternoon, so I visited the world-famous Vancouver Aquarium, and afterward strolled along some of the beachfront watching the sunset. In the Pacific NW, I just love how, no matter how grey and drizzly the day gets, at the end of the day the sun nearly always manages to poke out from underneath the clouds for a few precious minutes of brilliant golden light.
I do love the fact that the PNW has an all-worship-and-praise Christian music station, Praise 106.5; it's so refreshing. Driving around in Vancouver, I heard Jenn Weber's cover of "One Pure and Holy Passion" for the first time; I turned it up and was rockin'!
