This weekend I drove down to Seattle; Nate organized a parent-teen seminar -- er, no, a "FUN" event! -- for the YF/YSF kids at ECC-EKC. Nate did a great job pulling everything together; we had some great mixer games that worked well even with our limited space and packed crowd of nearly a hundred parents+teens. In the breakout sessions where the parents and teens were separate, there were a lot of excellent and very practical family issues raised, and in the combined panel discussion, our panel of experienced parents and young adults did a fantastic job of sharing their own struggles and experiences, pointing the way towards family reconciliation under Christ. To wrap up the night (near 10pm; everyone was pretty tired already!), I had the honor of sharing a bit from Col3:17-24.

We all had a wonderful time; Nate did a terrific job organizing, and everyone felt like there was just so much good discussion, one night was just too little time. Thanks Nate! "FUN" officially stands for "Family Unlimited Night", but we all really knew that it stood for "Fun with Uncle Nate"! I unfortunately didn't think to snap any pictures at the FUN event, but the photos in this album are from the rest of this weekend, together with some assorted earlier photos from Langley that I couldn't think of where to put.
