We went to visit my cousin Janice, her husband Paul, and their almost-two-year-old boy Ryan! Originally we were going to invite them out to eat, but the presence of small chillun tends to make eating out rather a chore -- so it was easier for them to invite us over for dinner. After dinner we took a walk outside to walk off some of those calories and enjoy the golden sunset light. Even though the sun was almost setting, it was still blisteringly hot out, and muggy so the sweat didn't evaporate! A nice cold dessert of ice cream was just the ticket.
It was wonderful to see them again; we might not have another chance to visit for a while, though!
