After six years, I finally finished my Ph.D. in computer science! UNC's 2004 December commencement was held in the Dean Smith Center ("DeanDome") basketball stadium, with speaker George Lensing, English professor at UNC. I was overwhelmed by how many family and church friends came out to encourage and congratulate me; I didn't expect so many! Afterwards, a bunch of us went out to Johnny Carino's restaurant in Briercreek for dinner. Thanks Vinny for organizing dinner, and thanks to everyone for cheering me on!
