St. Malo and Paris, France
I attended the 7th International Conference on Medical Image Computing and Computer-Assisted Intervention, at St. Malo in the peninsula of Brittany (Breton, or Bretagne) in the northwest corner of France. Our lab had a nice showing at MICCAI, several posters (including mine), and a couple oral presentations. I spent most of the time, though, skipping out on the talks to walk around the beaches of St. Malo. Despite the gray weather, the Breton coast was beautiful, and it was very relaxing. Lugging all my camera gear around was killer on my back, though....
